National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Facilities Support
CC&C contracted with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide facilities support services, including warehouse inventory, inventory management, and asset storage in NOAA warehouse facilities. CC&C staff members were primarily responsible for the operation of the warehouse inventory system at NOAA’s main warehouse site. Staff performed a physical inventory of existing items and updated their movements in the software system. Our staff was also responsible for barcoding, photographing, logging, and storing new items as they came to the warehouse. During the life of our contract, the agency converted their warehouse management to a new software system and CC&C staff was instrumental in transferring data to the new system and updating the barcodes and RFID chips on each inventory item. Regular inventory updates were provided to the agency for current information on the stored items. Our staff members also used the inventory reports to best manage the warehouse space and create the most efficient storage plan for items housed there.
US Army Corps of Engineers Inventory Project
The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) engaged CC&C to perform a complete inventory of all assets at the Naval Health Clinic Annapolis Replacement Facility. Inventory was done in multiple buildings and covered approximately 105,000 square feet of space. A wall-to-wall inventory was done in each space and was a comprehensive count of all items within the facilities that were not permanently affixed to the building, including items such as televisions, furniture, truck dollies, etc. During the course of this inventory, CC&C staff photographed each individual item and provided them to the client in the form of electronic files and hard copy disks. Photographed items were checked again an existing inventory list and incorporated in a new complete inventory file that included assigning inventory numbers, full descriptions of each item, and origin and destination locations for each.
